When I first started doing crossfit I really wondered what I had gotten myself into. I am over 50, a breast cancer survivor and have problems with the rhythm in my heart to the point of having had an ablation and maybe a candidate for another. I felt like it was a lost cause for me to continue as I felt so very weak and out of shape but I stuck with it. Paul is great at pushing us through to the finish when we want to quit. He shows us how to exercise correctly and makes it fun. After two weeks when the pain from exercising weak muscles subsided, I discovered I was getting back in shape more quickly than I thought possible. I have energy, stamina and strength that I thought were long gone. I went for a nuclear stress test recently and the tech and doctor both commented on how my heart rate was good and strong and rebounded quickly from the exertion. Caring for elderly infirm parents has also shown me how very important it is to stay in shape. My only regret is that I did not know about this when I was 30!!! Crossfit is becoming a way of life for me and my motto is 0 to fit in 20 minutes a day!!!
