Oh BMO, who are the three people up there in front of you? The names sound familiar – I just can’t put a face to them. Its wierd, like I kind of remember you attempting to keep up with those guys, but just coming oh so close.
I wish I had a picture of your face when you saw this. Oh the despair, the heartache, I can feel your rage as you read this.
AHAHAHAH….for all the world to see. The JCC, Millsap, and AV dominance. this picture makes me question all the other times you put up when I am not there.
I am sure my time will get crushed by someone but man does it make me happy looking at this. I will sleep so peacefully tonight.
#’s 1, 2, and 3 = TEMPORARY
There has been a lot of running lately. if I wanted to run I would go to Hampton Hills and stare at all of the “homemakers” on the treadmills. Running is for the birds. Oh and by the way, I think the rope climbs would have been easier had I been doing my bicep curls. Functional movements
great day… new PR, from 12:25 to 10:55

Thanks! (I found the links on the front page too).
great feature
Today was one of my worst showings in a long time. Everyone has their days, guys, so don’t let a personally poor performance get you down. Eat right and get enough sleep or it’ll catch up with you eventually without a doubt. Give it your all with what you bring to the table that day, and you can be proud.
That’s it for my cheesy motivational crap. Just get in there and kick my time’s ass today.
Hate to admit it, but no movement for me today on the leaderboard. 8:43 Rx. that’s the best I had today.
You better show out today, AV. After Friday we won’t be able to verify that anything you claim to do in San Diego is true.
Bmo, I think you got me today. GHD’s from monday have me walking really funny. Hip flexors and core are destroyed. Yes, this is me already making excuses.
Bobbi, Gunny, anybody in the know – what happened with Crossfit Norcal over the last few days? Word in the ether is that Robb Wolf and those folks got decertified. Nothing about it on the crossfit.com frontpage (maybe there’s something on the boards, but I can’t access them from work).
edit: I meant disaffiliated, not decertified
I was able to read the blog on Robb’s site about the firing. Its pretty instresting…what is even more intresting is that Bobbi’s name is on there. Nothing bad, but it talks about her using some of his info at a cert. He says that his information is supposed to no longer be used throughout CF (that is if I read his responses correctly).
But on a different note, I did yesterday’s WOD today, by accident! I read the wrong WOD posting. I finished in 15:53…had to mod it did frist round at 30lbs and no rope climbs, than moved to 20 lbs with the no rope climbs ( had to do towel pull ups instead).
All I have to say is, I love doing CF, even though it is the most trying workouts I have ever done, the accomplishments I feel after make up for the pain I feel during. I still thank everyone of you for teaching me what you could in 7 weeks and letting me know that I could still do it on my own out here in cold ass Wy!. Thanks too all!
Agree that it’s interesting stuff. The videos that were supposedly taken need to be posted so that we aren’t getting this second hand. If this is just higher-ups in a cat fight, that’s one thing, but if best practices really are being squashed by HQ for being too heretical, that’s a big problem.
I agree. The videos need to be posted. It all sounded to me like a bunch of kids on a playground fighting over something petty. But, if it is about practices being squashed than yes, it is a problem. I love what Crossfit taught me and I continue to use this Crossfit as part of my work out routines. I took the information from Bobbi, Paul and the rest of the trainers so I could succeed in doing this on my own. I also know that if I have questions I can still post on here and it will be answered. But I don’t like having to do towel pull ups when I have no rope…can we think of something else besides those? Ugh….they suck!
Arianna, I applaud you for your consistant to stick to it! you can always ask and you will get an answer!!
Come and give me blood next week, or I will post bad things about you all next year……..
BMo,
Temporary?! You sure your old bones can push much harder?? haha. Hope all is well man
JCC
So you are still lurking on our board, huh? I wish I could say I was close to catching that top spot, but I’m NOT EVEN CLOSE. How you did it sub 8, I’ll never know. Good to hear from you, pal. Miss my partner.
So, today was a big milestone for me. Helen was a workout I did in the first month of coming to CCF. I remember it like it was yesterday. Garris saying at the begining something to the effect of 8 minutes is your goal. I believe I did it in 12 something that day. I felt like such a nozzle. Then, some months ago it came up again. I was very motivated and even moreso when I saw it was just going to be me and Paul B. I ended up with back cramps in round 2 and had to take a break just to be able to finish. I can’t lie and say that I didn’t come in today a little freaked. Anyway, I made it through and went sub 10 minutes which was my goal. However, to you sub 8 and sub 9 minute guys, hats off to you, you guys are beasts!!
On a different note, I want to give props to Anna for her first Rx pull up workout. Freaking AWESOME!!
WC
Good job to everyone today. I was able to see most of the people who did this workout today and everyone pushed hard. Although everyone did very well today I want to mention Anna and Megan K. Both of them finished the workout today with full pull ups. Im not sure if this is megans first time but I know for sure it was Anna’s. What they did today comes from all the hard work they put in and always striving to get better. I know there were many others today who did awsome but these were the two that stand out to me right now. Once again Awsome job to everyone!!!!
I love the new website! It looks great!
Wow did you all see the guy in pic from the lactic acid article? I want to look like him!
