WOD:

With a Partner (+/- 10lbs your body weight)

Complete for time:

100 Pull Ups

200 Meter Fireman Carry

100 Burpees

200 Meter Fireman Carry

100 Wall Ball Shots

200 Meter Fireman Carry

Reps are completed as a team with NO MORE THAN ONE PERSON WORKING AT A TIME.  For the fireman’s carry, one person can carry the other for the entire 200 meters, or you can switch at the 100 meter turn around.  To complete the WOD as Rx’d, the partners must be the same size, and carry each other in the traditional Fireman’s Carry.

This Week: Face Your Fears

Yes, save the whining, I know the workout today is “different”.  To our folks in uniform though, this workout is a walk in the park, and if it isn’t, it should be.  Don’t be afraid to try something new.  You are in capable hands with our trainers.  You can do this.  Once you get the technique down of picking up the other person, the carry itself is not that tough.  Put those notions of “this is crazy” out of your head, and stop by today and have a little fun.

    This workout reminds me of PT. It will be nice to do it with someone my size. I usually get stuck with someone at least 30lbs heavier.

    Oh nevermind. Just weighed myself naked and I’m up to 173. Sorry, Chris. I’ve gained a full 10 pounds since the body fat thing on the 14th. And I feel like a million bucks. So anyone between 163 and 183 wanna coordinate a class time? It just occured to me that the “Me” from 19 days ago maybe couldn’t have done this workout with the Me of today…After breakfast, I might be over the limit.

    awesome job this morning to the early risers! nothing like looking up during my “intense” dawn vs. tosh WOD this morning to see everyone walking out the front bay door, into the daylight – i’ve always thought the morning rise is the best natural light of the day….

    teams this morning really went after it and tackled the WOD – great to see such teamwork!

    TOSH – thanks for the recent trash talking and competition this morning – and way to stick with those Double Unders – i know you struggle with them, but you didn’t give up ….. and didn’t take it out on the rope! proud of you.

    great effort on the post-WOD muscle-ups this morning – they are getting better each time we work on them.

    glad to see some of Tosh’s Army buds back again this morning – i think i heard talk of signing up! come on in! great job and mad props to Cory, Jaime, Ava, Allison, and Matt who have all continued to come back after the first WOD!

    DOUBLE UNDERS..Dawn, you are right. I DIDN’T take my frustration out on the rope this time..I took it out on the poor, innocent abmats instead. You must have missed the part when I kicked the stack of abmats and they tumbled to the floor.

    OK BIG BOYS and Girls!! I stepped and had to haul Reids Big Ole Butt up and down the street! I gave up at least hmmmm 30+pounds. So I don’t want to hear any excuses!! Just like the old days I had to Haul a Clemson Tiger again!!

    Okay, this was a fun workout! Of course I can say that because I didn’t care my own weight…..thankfully. I probably would have collapsed if I had to carry my own weight. Need to lose a few lbs. and gain some muscle before I try this one.

    Great job to Shellie for doing a mini-workout and carrying MR! :-) Shellie is Hoover’s daughter.

    Anyway…..great job to my honey who kicked some Tiger Butt today! Sorry BMO, Richard, Reid and Todd if I upset you with the “Tiger Butt comment”! :-) All out of fun and love! :-)
