This Saturday, March 21, come out and support the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in their efforts to raise money for the American Heart Association. You can participate by finding sponsorship or paying a flat fee to participate in one or both of the workouts that afternoon. The fundraiser begins at 12:00 after normal gym hours. We encourage everyone to come out and show their support.
How do you donate? Well, you can get your friends and family to sponsor you for one or both of the events, or you can pay $25 per workout. If you choose the sponsorship route, then your sponsors will be donating per point for the “Fight Gone Bad” event, and per burpee for the “Burpee Challenge” event. You can pick up sponsor sign up sheets at the gym. For more information, see Bobbi. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association. If you are interested in donating time or Zone friendly snacks for the participants on Saturday, see Bobbi for more info on how to help.

What a brutal workout! Kunze where you been? There’s been a lack of energy without ya man! Even Anthony has been quiet.
My heart will have fallen out of my chest by the end of this workout. haha. Look forward to seeing everyone at 4:00!
This is killing everyone. Lv is in the lead with a time of 20 12.
I have always thought that The American Heart Association was a good thing but this last week really brought new meaning to me and my family about heart desease. My wifes father (which is a marathon runner and avid long distance byciclist) under went open heart surgery this week with 80% blockage and was home in two days WOW. They were able to do this because of the research and advancement and contributions from The American Heart Association. If you or someone you know has been effected by this desease please come out and support us and do this workout!

im not sure if my ongoing lack of sleep is partly to blame but this workout absolutely smoked me.
uhhh….watching this WOD was brutal! great job to the 6 and 8amers! way to push through the workout.

Justin you can get some West Virginia chrome, a.k.a. Duct Tape and some plywood and gets to taping your sneakers. just a thought for those budget conscious folks among us.
Mike Jones…although your solution is very economically sound, I was hoping for something a little less labor-intensive…I’m not a very handy guy.
Throw one week of working at night at me and here I am with sinusitis. Thought about coming in earlier but that was just the sudafed talking. Maybe tomorrow. On the plus side, got a little book to keep track of the WODs.

I guess on the Zone I’ll keep eating as if I was working out, heck, can’t imagine eating less… I did get in a pushup/situp/squat WOD x 100 reps each on Saturday before I started feeling crummy.

Kunze, where are you? I missed our friendly 6AM trash talk. LV and Tye smoked this thing, and this thing smoked me. I dont think it is fair as a Hobbit that I have to do 24″ box jumps, how about 18?
I will miss Saturday, we will be up at Ft. Bragg househunting. Bummer to miss FGB!

and a couple more things…
1) Paul, Ranger panties are cool, chicks dig them, especially on Hobbits, but you could be an exception.
2) I tried to do a box jump on a desk today out of sheer boredom…about 38″ I guess…I missed…it was embarrassing and now my shin is sore.
20:07 for me tonight. I’m not doing well lately. I am fatiguing way too fast. I hate the plague for setting me back.
Anthony, I can identify with the height issue. I am 5 ft tall and had to do them too. I can also identify with missing and getting the shins. I tried a 36in and missed with one leg. Got 33in but missed 36in and had a bloody bruised shin on my right leg for a week.
Being a hobbit sucks.
Also, the Ranger silkies are not sexy. I worked a cert for a special forces group in Kentucky and those guys were all a little too eager to strip down to their Ranger “manties” (man panties) in 40 degree weather. Weird and sometimes a little gross and off putting.
