Jack Lalanne was way ahead of his time. We live in a nation of sugar addicts and now more than ever, children are affected by obesity due to the convenience of junk food and the fact that they don’t get out and play anymore. So many diseases are linked to poor diet and exercise, but too much sugar is the major offender. Try taking refined sugar out of your diet for 2 weeks and see how you feel. Is it tough at first? Yes. Will you feel better once you adjust? Absolutely. You need to be as tough and vigilant with your diet as you are with your training. Train hard and eat right.

Even though its not great i’ll post my time this from this morning…19:55. Could be worse but I was just trying to keep up with the 4 all stars I worked with this morning…fat kid just didn’t stand a chance!

Don’t normally post, but I had to thank Anders for crushing me on this. We’re normally on different schedules, but the few times I work out with him, he manages to push me further than I think I can do.
Also, working out in the rain makes life very interesting. 13:53 for the day.
Spigner missed the workout today because he was doing court ordered community service.
Had my little boy’s soccer game yesterday morning. Decided to do the WOD just a while ago. I walked off 440 yards (402m) on my street. Took me 10:36. My quads and glutes are fried!
Did this one on my time today too. Stairs are still an adventure.
My 45lb 3yo niece jumped on my legs/backside after church this morning while lying on my mother’s living room floor – instantaneous pain and shreek!
Then eric thought it’d be cute to poke me on my right butt cheek – not funny yet…
My hind end is VERY unhappy
